How to get to Avignon

  • From Paris - There are three Paris train stations departure:

    • Charles De Gaules Airport (Paris Roissy-CDG 2 Airport)  >> Avignon TGV (roughly 2h 50 mins for the direct ones)

    • Marne-La-Vallee - Chessy >> Avignon TGV (roughly 2h 30 mins for the direct ones)

    • Gare De Lyon - Hall 1 + 2  >> Avignon TGV (roughly 2h 40 mins for the direct ones)

  • From Marseille:

    • The closest airport to Avignon is in Marseille. From there you can either take the train to Avignon or rent a car

  • By Car:

    • 6h30 min from Paris if you're really planning on taking your time to discover France on the way

  • Car Rental:

    • The most convenient / cost efficient location to rent a car is next to the Avignon TGV
